Dans un trou vivait un hobbit. Ce n’était pas un trou déplaisant, sale et humide, rempli de bouts de vers et d’une atmosphère suintante, non plus qu’un trou sec, sablonneux, sans rien pour s’asseoir ni sur quoi manger: c’était un trou de hobbit, ce qui implique le confort.

Ce hobbit était un hobbit très cossu, et iel s’appelait N’ael. N’ael et Nico habitaient le voisinage de Montréal depuis environ 2 ans et ils étaient très considérés, non pas seulement parce que la plupart d’entre eux étaient marrants , mais aussi parce qu’ils adoraient les aventures.
This hobbit was a very well-to-do hobbit, and their name was N’ael. N’ael and Nico had lived in Montreal for about 2 years and people considered them very respectable, not only because most of them were funny, but also because they always had adventures.

Ainsi, par un beau matin N’ael apprit que Smaug s’était installé vers Dorval. N’ael adorant les dragons, une grande expédition fut montée pour aller le rencontrer.
By a beautiful morning, N’ael leans that Smaug was in town, around Dorval. Loving dragons, a huge expedition been set up by N’ael to go meet him.

Bien qu’il n’y avait pas de trésor à voler ni d’anneaux précieux, la sculpture était immmense. Elle était faite de mousse, de plantes et de métal entrecroisés. Pour donner une échelle, voici N’ael à coté de la tête de Smaug:
Althought there were no treasure to steal, nor was a precious ring, the sculpture was huge. It was done with mold, plants and metal all together. To give you a bit of scale, here is N’ael near Smaug’s head:

Ce dernier trône au dessus de la porte d’une maison de Hobbit dont la porte est fermée. On peut accéder au toit (et donc au dragon) en prenant les chemins montants à gauche et à droite.

Trou de Hobbit / Hobbit’s hole

En s’éloignant, des traces de pieds aussi larges que longs sont visibles sur le sol. Marcher dans les traces n’est vraiment pas facile du fait de leur taille et de leur espacement, on à un peu l’impression d’être un pingouin 😉
Going away from the hole, foots steps are visibles on the ground. Steping on those marks is not easy due to the size of them and their spacing, you kinda feel like a penguin 😉

Au final c’est une sympathique attention pour tous les fans de l’univers de Tolkien, pas très fidèle mais joliment réalisée. Si vous souhaitez vous allonger dans le parc ou jouer un baseball, c’est aussi possible car le parc de Windsor est grand assez ombragé 🙂

Finally it is a nice attention to the tolkien’s universe fan, not realy accurate but nicely done. If you want to lay on thepark or play baseball, it is also possible because Windsor’s park is quite big and shady.
